Daddy came with us to the athletics carnival and brought his friend along.

He was only on it for a little while, he had to get some work out. It was great having dad there.

The kids had the most fun with the novelty races. Egg and spoon races, sack races, relay races, hoop rolling and other’s I don’t know the name for!

Here are some photo’s of the day.

There was a cow there too who did such a great job in managing the kids on the field.

I bought 4 cups of instant coffee/tea because it was so cold (if your wondering why it’s a big deal. It is because it was instant, the ones you get in the supermarket isle). I am so naughty I need to go and buy a new thermos because the thermos I have has left over residuals of coffee which was hard to clean from last time. I don’t know why I am even going on about this but anyway … so next time I will make sure I bring the thermos (a new one) so I don’t spend $6 on instant tea and coffee!.

Dad was so proud of the kids that he offered to take the kids to see a movie. We searched the internet and found Tinkerbell and the great fairy rescue.

They had a $7 ticket special, so the price alone was tempting. Usually the movies are beyond $10. It was a 4:50 session and originally I told Martin to take the older 3 kids. I dropped them off and little Ethan at the back is like “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy……….. “all the way around the block so we ended up joining them too!. We were the only people in the cinema just 6 of us!. We then went and had Japanese at Hurstville and invited mum and Julie along with us too. What a day!. We all got home and crashed.
