Holiday Craft
Give me some flour, eggs and milk and I’ll make you some crepes. But give me some scissors, paper and glue I would not even know where to start.
Last holidays was lacking in the “craft” department so these holidays I went out searching for cheap or free events who will provide all materials and instructions to keep my children entertained and me sane :-).
First was the library
Bankstown Council provided craft at the library and the kids made some placemats. They drew pictures and the lady laminated them for us. We made one for each of the family.
Bel is my craft girl and oh how much fun did she have! She always sticks her tongue out when she is concentrating in the middle photo. But oh I had to include the last photo …. not real sure what look that was for.
That day I walked out with so much craft I needed a plastic bag!
Dad made this turtle sometime through the holidays.
The kids made hip bags that go around your waist and some stick people using pipe cleaners and beads.
The Narwee Kids Club also was jammed packed full of craft ! Survivor Outback.
Dylan got to go to a Kids Club at the Revival Life Centre in Hurstville. He went on his own because Isabelle was sick. He got to make this cool plane and he was very proud. Well done Dylan.
I am very grateful that I had places I could go with my kids to do all this craft. It was lots of fun!.
